She graduated with distinction in 1986 from the G. Verdi Conservatoire in Milan under Primo Borali, and went on to attend advanced courses in Lanciano, Fiesole, Siena, Como and Lonato with Capicchioni, Garbarino, Meloni and Carbonare. A prizewinner in national and international competitions in duo with piano (with Maria Grazia Petrali) and wind octet (Promenade ensemble), she has performed in various chamber formations for major musical organisations throughout Italy: Palazzo Grassi in Venice, Teatro Manzoni, Museo della Scala and Sala Verdi in Milan, Teatro Comunale in Piacenza, as well as in Rome, Bari, La Spezia and other cities. Since 1990 she has been a member of the instrumental ensemble Salotto ‘800, accompanying the baritone Leo Nucci in Italian and international theatres, including Zagreb, Munich, Bonn, Lille, Santiago and Viña del Mar (Chile), the Rome Opera House, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Bellini in Catania, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Salle Garnier in Monte Carlo. With this ensemble, she has recorded four CDs and, in 1996, in Viña del Mar, the group received the Critics’ Award for the best concert of the year. Salotto ‘800 has also collaborated with sopranos Mariella Devia, Katia Ricciarelli, Raina Kabaivanska and Luciana Serra; with the latter, she recorded a live CD. She has performed as clarinet, E-flat clarinet and bass clarinet with the orchestras of RAI Milan, Angelicum, Milano Classica, Teatro Comunale di Treviso, the Trento Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Parma. Since 2005, she has collaborated with AGIMUS – Verona section – performing in a quartet with voice, cello and piano in concert seasons in Milan, Verona and Munich.

She completed the four-year music therapy course in Assisi in 2003.

Since the 2007/2008 academic year, she has held a permanent position as Professor of Clarinet at the Conservatories of Trapani, Vicenza, Piacenza, and currently Milan.
