Since 2006, Chianti in Musica has organised flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, guitar, piano, and chamber music courses.

Applications from amateur musicians for instrument courses will be considered based on the places available in the classes.
Active students: 400€
The fee includes:
- membership of Chianti in Musica ETS, worth Euro 20.00, compulsory for participation in the course;
- a daily individual lesson that the other students on the course are invited to attend;
- ensemble music lessons with the other students of their instrument course and with the students of the other instruments;
- participation in concerts, in agreement with the teacher;
- use of study rooms;
- certificate of attendance.
Auditor students: 100€
The fee includes:
- membership of Chianti in Musica ETS, worth Euro 20.00, compulsory for participation in the course;
- certificate of attendance.
The Palazzo Malaspina, in the central square of the village of San Donato in Poggio, hosts the course lectures. The students' concerts will take place in the Church of Santa Maria della Neve.
The registration fee for Chianti in Musica 2025 does not include accommodation in San Donato.
IMPORTANT!
Instrumentalists who intend to work during the week on pieces requiring piano accompaniment are kindly requested to notify Francesca Rivabene by email (francesca.rivabene@gmail.com) by May 31 and, if necessary, send her the piano part.
Choir: 150€
The course is open to musicians and amateurs, even without musical knowledge. The pieces studied, selected from the choral repertoire from the Renaissance to contemporary works, will be determined based on the number and type of registered choristers.
The registration fee of €150 includes:
• membership of Chianti in Musica ETS, worth Euro 20.00, compulsory for participation in the course;
• four hours of lessons per day and participation in the final concert;
• certificate of attendance.
ACCOMMODATION
Chianti in Musica reserves a selection of apartments at discounted rates for course participants. Contact us to choose the accommodation option that best suits your needs. Our office will provide you with the available options and all the necessary information about your stay in Chianti (approximate cost for the entire period: €240–450 per person).
Meals: each flat has an equipped kitchen, and the village offers supermarkets, shops, pizzerias, restaurants, and bars. During the course, the canteen organised by Chianti in Musica in the pizzeria of the Teatro della Filarmonica is available to students and teachers. A first course, main course, vegetables, and fresh fruit are offered daily for €8.00. Also in the same building is the well-stocked bar i’ Poggio where Lorenzo prepares excellent dishes and offers Chianti in Musica participants a 40% discount on meals and sandwiches, also available for takeaway
